    Another great experience. We're were just here on Monday and back again tonight, Friday. A rare Friday night off for me, so I had to choose wisely. Who am I kidding, my wife said let's go back.
    Nice service by Shelby (wowzer) and the manager stopped by, Bill.
    Build your own entrees and then we had dessert. Yummers on both.

    This is usually our very favorite place to go out to eat. We came here for our anniversary dinner. Horrible experience. Our server was too busy show boating being loud talking smack to the cooks. She even spent her time going in their cooking area speaking obnoxiously loud. In the mean time we the customers were not being served refills on our drinks, or being checked on. All the customers were looking at the grill area as she made a scene. The cooks looked stressed out already and I am sure she didn't help. She needs to keep to serving and staying with her customers making sure they are cared for. We almost walked out. Had it not been for Tiffany we would have. She finished making sure we were taking care of. Never ever have we ever had such bad service as today and if this is the new standards not sure we will be back.

    This is the response I got after I submitted feedback on their website over a week ago. This is what I meant back when I had that problem with Village Inn. I got calls from both their corporate office and the manager of the location I had the problem within days of each other! They showed they care! They showed they were interested in fixing the problem! This, however, is a canned response that basically says: Yeah we looked at your message for two seconds and deleted it.  This wasn't even about a food issue or rude staff, this was about staffing your actual location! They insist on staffing at bare minimum and someone is going to get hurt! The day I went in only one waitress was on the floor serving customers and one person was manning the food. That means one person had to cook the food after serving the people getting their choices in the food line. There wasn't even a manager around in case something went very bad like an injury or a sickness and this is how those things happen! When you only schedule bare minimum your employees get over-stressed and start making mistakes, like food safety mistakes, burnt food, or your poor waitress running all over the place trying to take care of everyone (this was actually happening when I was there). This kind of thing screams 'I don't care about the very thing that allows me to keep getting a paycheck and keeps my business running'. Your employees are your greatest asset, why do you insist on treating them this way? If you think you can't afford to staff any more than bare minimum, then you are not running your business efficiently and you need to reevaluate how you're spending your money. In my letter to them, I included that this attitude made me not want to spend money at their business any longer, so that line of 'we look forward to serving you again' really makes me mad. 'Yeah we know you'll come back even if we do nothing, loser' is what that says to me. Excuse my language but, PISS OFF! No, you won't be serving me again. Not after I've seen the way you treat your staff. Goodbye.

    It pains me to give 3 stars because this place is one of my favorites. And it IS good! Just make sure you dine in and NOT order online like I did last night. For $12, I received a very minuscule portion of what I ordered. I understand it was a "small " bowl I opted for but seriously, 4 green beans and remnants of broccoli from the cutting board? And only 4 PIECES OF SAUSAGE!? The sausage is my favorite and they totally skimped me out of it. I could have bought a pack a chicken and sausage and all those veggies at the store for less than $12 and gotten WAAAAY more. Yes....disappointed is a good word.

    From when we walked in the hostest had a great smile, greeted us, asked how many in our party and seated us right away. Immediately our server Kat came over, introduced herself, very attentive and welcoming. She offered these AMAZING margaritas, that of course I had to have.  Kudos to the bartender.. delicious!! We ordered pot stickers, wow yum! Kat came back and explained the way we order from the menu because it was our first time there, of course we all chose the large bowls.. . We walked over to the line, and there we were greeted by the Manager Armando, great smile, went ahead and explained the process, all our choices, went that extra mile and gave us our bowls. I got to tell you the atmosphere in this restaurant is awesome! Manager greeted us, and serve our bowls, other employees super friendly, and very attentive.  I can see the team work!! Finished loading our bowls and went back to our table, when I noticed the manager walking around greeting other tables and making sure they were okay! Man I said to myself we made the right choice! Keep up the great job Armando, you are definitely doing something right! The food was DELICIOUS, very flavorful, portions are awesome! Had some for lunch today . Bathrooms looked superb..thanks for that, restaurant very clean.Thanks Armando, Kat, the bartender sorry I didn't catch his name for making our trip to Arizona a memorable one. We will definitely come back to Genghis Grill, and we will bring more friends.
